When I started the year of 2023 I was in a somewhat low point in my life. I started to do some reflecting on where i was in life and where i wanted to be. I have always wanted to photograph a hand full of thing and witness them with my own eyes. Polar bears were at the top of the list. Polar Bears in the wild, the northern lights, arctic foxes, etc. all were on the list and all had yet to be seen. I found myself looking forwards every year saying, “This year I’m going to do it!” and before you knew it, it would be December and i had not done it. I was determined to not let that be the case. What was stopping me from doing it now? NOTHING BUT EXCUSES! Money comes and goes and so i put a deposit down on an expedition to the polar bear capital of the world. (Churchill, Manitoba, Canada) Life moves pretty fast sometimes and its easy to let it get the best of you. But I was determined to achieve my dreams and this was the beginning of that journey.
